Selected candidates should use AI tools for protein design, enhancing the development of novel therapeutic approaches, leverage advanced computational resources, including high-performance GPU clusters and collaborate with our industrial partner.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Structural Biology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Experience in protein design and proficiency with AI tools for protein engineering are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with a team.
- Good communication skills in English

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent researcher to join our team, focusing on the computational design of novel gene editors to improve efficiency and precision, as well as the in-silico optimization of lentiviral vector surface markers to enhance selectivity, efficacy, and enable cell-specific gene therapy applications.
Selected candidates should use AI tools for protein design, enhancing the development of novel therapeutic approaches, leverage advanced computational resources, including specialized GPU clusters and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across academic and industry partners.
Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Structural Biology, Computational Biology, or a related field.
- Experience in protein design and proficiency with AI tools for protein engineering are highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Deep Learning Researcher (open)
We are currently seeking a deep learning researcher to join our AI for Protein Design lab in Barcelona. The candidate will be responsible for training and implementing intelligent agents and applying Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) techniques in protein design.

We have an open Marie Curie skłodowska Action (MSCA) PhD position to start this fall (2023) or early 2024 within an outstanding industrial network of various pharma companies and universities in Europe.

Lab Manager - Position closed
We are looking for a researcher with a broad experience in protein characterization (cloning, expression, purification).
Qualifications:
MSc (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline.
At least three years of wet lab experience.
Knowledge of protein chemistry and biophysical methods involved in the characterization and formulation of proteins.
Hands-on experience in analyzing proteins by methods such as chromatography, gel electrophoresis, fluorescence spectroscopy, and crystallography.
Experience in setting up protein stability studies.
Ability to speak Catalan or Spanish to get in contact with local suppliers and maintenance companies.
We are a small lab, and you will take responsibility for the wet-lab work, occasionally managing incoming students. As a person, you are result oriented, can take the initiative, and drive your activities autonomously. This is a long-term position, with an initial contract of four years.
